While yes, there's benefits with going to with a big publishing house, I like the idea of having 100% control. It drives me crazy when a cover doesn't match the character(s)/story and that's often because the author doesn't have a say. I've met some indie authors and they are great. <br />There are a lot of published authors that keep adding books to series just because they were contracted to write certain amount of books, but they lack substance.
